The meaning of humanity is different for different folks. If you came across an opinionated piece of an article about the difficulty for the people who are left-handed and that life’s so not fair to the left-handed, then you’re not the only one puzzled. As a reader, something was off when you read the examples and the relation to the points that were given. Some of it was alright and agreed. The choice and the examples pointed to a different picture. This piece of article and some similar issues online ignited the idea behind writing this article.
What is moral for one may be unacceptable for the other. This certainly is not just about left-handed or right-handed people. This is about how an idea that is absurd and morally, logically, and even scientifically incorrect is decided to be proven correct and moral. There is no problem in using a left hand, but there is a rule, a principle that people follow that saves us from an unwanted nastiness.
For example, many people prefer to use their right hand to eat food and use their left hand to wash the backside. A backpack has two sides to hold; it balances the weight on both sides.
Religion has helped humanity to be clean and live a better life because it has a yardstick. Besides religion, we follow many rules daily, for example, the rules while driving on the road. We also use lifesaving vests for safety purposes to avoid drowning.
Some people use both hands even for writing. That helps them. Perfect. Does that mean a door should have two handles on each side? We use both hands while typing a word on the keyboard. We trained ourselves and we did it.
There are a few who decide to take a different route. Whether it be standing with visibly different features, appearances, actions, or ideas, under the guise of a perpetual victimhood is incorrect as per basic human nature and common morals. This is psychological. It has a tendency to harm the peace of the society. Humans have lived for centuries with people that are different. Certain societies have treated them well; some have understood their issue and been kind, whereas others have shown hatred. However, even in such societies there are many that have moral or safety reasons.
Simple aspect of whether using the right hand or left is misconstrued and many are left confused. It appears to match a pattern. A pattern that made us change things that were otherwise crimes all over the world. So, if you see more of a specific crime or heinous event been normalised, it may be because of following such a pattern either knowingly or unknowingly. This gives way to the destruction of morals and peaceful and flourishing religious practices that make our society.
The question is, why now? Why these words, images or videos are more common than ever before. This is because our technology enables us to mass communicate.
Why use language to prove your point? This is the point one can determine that there is an effort to confuse the language users about what is right and what is wrong. If crime is not considered crime, then how can one punish the criminals? It gives the guilty one a free pass to utilise the nuance of the language to point at while committing what is immoral or even a crime for that matter. It does not mean using the left hand is wrong ; It means knowing where and when to use it. Now one could say morality is subjective, and so is crime. Well, that is incorrect. To be precise, it is not “Left”. It is incorrect.
Languages cannot think for themselves. To label one language as biased and others unbiased, is being presumptuous. This is because you are judging everyone with your point of view and passing a judgement that your subject faced discrimination; hence, everyone is facing the same issue. That is called wishful thinking. People don’t always choose things because they like them and it makes them happy. Many people work because they have to pay the bills, make themselves busy, and be useful to society by serving them, for instance, emergency services.
To pick words and use “twisted into negative” is a point of view. One can have an opinion, and to prove the point, might also have an example that supports it. It does not discount the reality. We are in a stage of life where it is of prime importance to save our world from such confusions. These surreptitious, delusional individuals need medical or psychological help.
Where language supports their point of view, they tend to display it as being unbiased. At the same time, if one points at ancient customs that show a different picture, then this whole story turns out like a revolving door.
Using examples of the words and phrases from various languages and modern customs is exaggerated in the article. This can lead to confusion among people. It is either purposeful or unintentional. It is the writer who knows. However, the way it comes to the readers is concerning because it lays a seed of confusion to consider a simple task as a huge problem or a massive inconvenience. It equates to scapegoating the morals. The pot calling the kettle black. I’m not saying this is the case, but the examples and explanation point to exactly this type of point of view to prove their argument.
Over the decades or even centuries, many of us that are left-handed did not feel so much pain the way it has been portrayed. Their academic rant and exaggerated explanations point to the fact that this writer was unhappy.
While many cultures have the aforementioned and agreed-upon morals. There may be a few that simply cannot stand with discipline and moral values. While we know it isn’t about defaming any individual, as it is incorrect. Many rebellious ones have tried to relate success and greatness with the rebellion. While it appears to be true on the face value, there is more to it than visible. Rebelling to achieve greatness is different from a collective rebellion to punish the innocent people by using numbers, power or influence by creating stereotypes at times. We see a set of people protesting to save extreme criminals that have been proven with crystal clear evidence. While there are people who are protesting to save an ongoing massacre.
At present, there are places where doorknobs are meant for left-handed people. You may also come across single doorknobs on both sides of the door, enabling users to get easy access. Sometimes it’s the point of view that matters instead of the academic sobbing or mulling over all the while considering oneself and the likes of similar points of view to be the discriminated ones. My friend, just stand on the other side of the door and you can be happy.

Misconstruing the entire fact of right and incorrectly associating it to prove to an innocent and naive reader takes a skill. On the contrary, this skill appears to go in the wrong direction and not to the “Left” proving the “Right” to be associated with the wrong ones or the baddies of the past and the present.
Using only one religion’s specific custom and quoting it doesn’t portray the world population with various religious beliefs. Can you imagine, one day one supposed victim wakes up and decides washing hands is completely wrong and quotes ancient customs… Another person wakes up and says wearing clothes to school or workplace is wrong.
Our preference matters, but sometimes, bitter medicine heals us. Although the one taking the medicine might find this to be so unjust, it is for their good. There are medicines that are neither bitter nor sweet, yet a child gets confused and does not want to take them thinking that they may be bitter. Not every aspect in this instance can be quoted as such because sometimes medicines are sweeter, and they heal you too. So, it’s up to us to be wary of what it pertains to and go into the path you feel is right. The topics that are not of major issue distract from the major issues of the society.
These are the types of tricks that trickled down to the unassuming readers that want to simply read, get entertained and learn something interesting.
